Purple Brock: Safe to Spend · Last updated 21 October 2026

The short version: your budget lives only on your iPhone. We don't collect it, see it, or share it — there's nothing to collect, because the app never sends your data anywhere.

Who we are

Purple Brock™: Safe to Spend ("the app") is made by Luke Price (The Purple Brock), an independent developer in Sweden. Questions about privacy: hello@thepurplebrock.com.

What the app stores — and where

Everything you enter — your pay, payday, bills, income, spending, settings and streaks — is saved in a database on your iPhone only. It is never uploaded to us or to any server.

Notifications

If you switch on reminders, they are scheduled on your iPhone by the app itself. No notification data passes through our servers. They're all off until you turn them on, and you can turn them off any time in the app or in iPhone Settings.

Sharing

If you choose to share your Badger Days card, the app makes an image and hands it to the iPhone share sheet. Nothing is shared unless you tap Share, and the card never includes money amounts.

Deleting your data

You're in control. Use Settings → Reset all data in the app, or simply delete the app — that removes everything it stored. Because we never receive your data, there's nothing for us to delete on our side.

Apple

The app is downloaded through Apple's App Store. Apple may collect information under its own privacy policy (for example, download and crash statistics you've agreed to share with developers). We only ever see the anonymous summary Apple provides.

This website

This site uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers. It's hosted by Cloudflare, which may briefly process technical data such as your IP address to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

Children

The app isn't aimed at children under 13, and it doesn't knowingly collect anything from anyone — including children.

Your rights

Under the GDPR and UK GDPR you have rights over your personal data. As we don't hold any of your data, there's nothing for us to access, correct or delete — but you're always welcome to ask us at hello@thepurplebrock.com.

Changes

If this policy ever changes, we'll update this page and the date at the top. If the app ever starts collecting anything, we'll say so clearly here first.
